Invisible Hand...Job? Reviewing the legacy of Adam Smith's most well-known phrase

Evidently "Invisible Hand" is right up there with "Survival of the Fittest" as a phrase the "author" maybe only muttered once or twice and probably meant it as a joke and probably regretted it greatly after saying it.

Freakonomics blog: The Invisible Hand Hoax
Adam Smith’s “invisible hand” theory of efficient markets is one of the first lessons taught to young economics students. James Tobin, a Nobel prize-winning economist, once described the theory as "... one of the great ideas of history and one of the most influential." But in this new paper, Gavin Kennedy argues that Smith actually had no invisible-hand theory, pointing out that the phrase appears only three times in Smith’s writings. One scholar believes that Smith’s use of the phrase was a “mildly ironic joke.” (HT: Brad DeLong)

A LaTeX Bulletin Board

Every once in a while I get an urge to create a topic blog. Those blogs receive the most traffic and probably do the most practical good in the world, right? I have trouble coming up with a topic though... If I had to chose one, I would probably make a LaTeX blog. Certainly I don't have the background in TeX to be a TeXpert, but I do pretty well among my peers with my LaTeX.

Well, I'm not ready for that yet. However, I just found a LaTeX bulletin board that I think might be more useful than comp.text.tex (a USENET newsgroup) for the young LaTeX user.

I don't know how long that's been around. Give it a look if you need some LaTeX help. Search through the archives for some useful tips and solutions.
