This one is from "Me Talk Pretty One Day" published in his recent book Me Talk Pretty One Day, which describes his struggles learning French in France from an evil French teacher who asks a beautiful optimistic Yugoslavian girl who says that she loves everything if she "loves [her] war." Funny stuff. (clearly, the subject quote is from this evil teacher to Sedaris)

She's been going around posting a bunch of corrections to posts, and it's really bugging me.
And THIS ONE in PARTICULAR is just FLAT WRONG!!
That's NOT HOW YOU SPELL CESAREAN!
If you are going to correct someone on their spelling, at least use a dictionary to make sure that you are correct!!

I don't know how I stumbled across your page but I swear it was me typing that post!!!LOL I feel exactly the same as you. I have a friend who corrects me all the time even when she is damn wrong LOLOL I hate it!!!!!!!! It's rude and ppl do it online all the time. I think they have insecurity issues and it makes them feel better about themselves to try & make others feel stupid. It's a form of neurosis they have so....sucks to be them hun ;>
