What can BJ's tell us about Natural Science?

From our favorite Bob Jones University:

Department of Natural Science
Department of Natural Science

The Department of Natural Science strives to develop in the student a Christian philosophy of science in which the Scripture is recognized as the inerrant, infallible Word of God and is authoritative on all issues addressed. Natural science is the product of human observation and interpretation of the physical creation. When properly interpreted, natural science results in an appreciation of the power, glory, and majesty of the Creator (Psalm 19:1).

Bob Jones University? Is this real?

Is it mormon?

Oh, it's real, and it's not Mormon at all. It's uber-Christian.

Take a look at Wikipedia: Bob Jones University.

Its mission statement: Within the cultural and academic soil of liberal arts education, Bob Jones University exists to grow Christlike character that is Scripturally disciplined; others-serving; God-loving; Christ-proclaiming; and focused above.

They tailor these future leaders for Washington to carry Christian morality into politics. It's a scarey, scarey place... And the kids there are all very nice and seem well adjusted... It's just when you start clashing them with the rest of the world that they turn very dangerous.
