Have you heard of Zipcar? It's actually becoming quite popular over here on the East Coast. I know a few people who have talked about selling their cars even, and just using the Zip program on the necessary occassion.
I think that living well or not depends on the way we view the life and view the world. If we have positive thoughts and know how to enjoy the life, everything is always beautiful and good in our eyes even though we have no car, no large building or credit card.
