Clocky, the rolling alarm clock

Hit snooze and this alarm runs and hides
Scientists at MIT's Media Lab in the United States have invented an alarm clock called Clocky to make even the laziest of sleepers, those who repeatedly hit the snooze button, leap out of bed.

After the snooze button is pressed, the clock, which is equipped with padding and a set of wheels, rolls off the table to another part of the room. Each day, the clock finds a new place to hide.

"When the alarm sounds again, simply finding Clocky ought to be strenuous enough to prevent even the doziest owner from going back to sleep," New Scientist magazine said on Tuesday.

Is that what it looks like? A cylindrical sponge waiting on the night stand to roll over and smother one in their sleep?? Thanks for the pic- I read the article, but the pic puts it all into perspective.

I hope you're being serious. :) That was the feeling I had. I don't know what I pictured when I read the article (without the picture), but it wasn't what was in the picture. I do think the picture puts it into perspective.

(though I didn't use your words to describe the picture, but I wish I had. That's pretty funny)
